Hyperliquid Whale Tracker: Largest Positions and What They Just Changed
Every 5 minutes we read the public positions of the 300 largest Hyperliquid accounts by equity, straight from the chain state. This page shows how those accounts lean per coin, the largest single positions with their entry and liquidation prices, and a feed of what changed since the last scan. No labels, no guesses: an address is an address, and the only selection is size.

Universe: the 300 largest accounts by account value on Hyperliquid's public leaderboard, refreshed hourly. Positions come from each account's clearinghouseState, the same public endpoint any wallet UI reads. Vaults and market makers are in the list when they are large enough; we do not label them because we cannot verify labels.
Events: a change is recorded only when a position opens, closes, flips side, or moves by more than 2% of its size between two scans. Smaller drifts (funding, partial fills) are ignored so the feed stays readable. The notional of a change is the changed size at the current mark.
Limits: 5-minute scans miss anything opened and closed inside a scan window; a failed clearinghouseState call leaves that account unchanged rather than marking its positions closed; the leaderboard is Hyperliquid's own ranking and can lag. Events are kept as recorded history; the daily table stores the last scan of each UTC day per coin.
FAQ
Who are the whales?
Whoever the 300 largest accounts by equity are at the hourly leaderboard refresh. We show addresses only; we do not attach names, funds or labels.
Why does a position change show as increased when the price moved?
It does not: the feed compares size (contracts), not notional. A change is emitted only when the size moves by more than 2%, flips side, opens or closes.
Is the liquidation price a prediction?
No. It is the exchange's own estimate for the account at scan time, given its cross margin and other positions. It moves as the account's equity and positions change.
