Public Updates

Release notes, methodology adjustments, and transparency announcements from the ByKaranteli ops team. Only reports flagged public land here; the full internal ops log stays on the admin console.

Free accounts get watchlist, candles and alert recipes · underpaid invoices stay open

The watchlist, DeskBoard candles and the one alert recipe a free account can save now work without a membership (the recipe fires to Telegram or push). Checkout: an invoice is valid for 72 hours instead of 24, and a payment that arrives short of the quote no longer expires with the money in the wallet: at 90% or more the membership activates pro-rated, below that the invoice waits 48 hours for a top-up and both you and we are told. Coinbase card purchases now deliver USDC to the wallet saved in Settings rather than an address typed at checkout.

API keys for programs, plans for your code, a data licence

The public JSON API now takes an account key from programs: a free key comes with any verified account (/dashboard/api, 30 requests a minute) and is required for scripts, bots and agents from 2026-09-10; pages on the site keep working without one. New plans for code on /pricing: Builder $49, Business $149 and Scale $399 a month buy rate, member depth on the API (LiqMap on seven timeframes, 5-minute series) and, from Business, a commercial licence and bulk exports; every paid API plan includes the Terminal membership, and members active today keep Builder rights for the rest of their period. Datasets served from this site are now under the ByKaranteli Data Licence (personal and research use with attribution, see /data); files published earlier on the GitHub, Kaggle, Hugging Face and Zenodo mirrors stay CC0 and stop updating. The MCP package 0.26.0 reads BYKARANTELI_API_KEY.

Signal engine retired: ByKaranteli is a data platform only

The rule-based signal engine, its receipts, strategy pages and performance APIs were removed. The former hub pages redirect to the data they were built on (/data, /symbols, /methodology) and individual receipt URLs answer 410 Gone. The symbol pages now show recorded price, funding, open interest and the derivatives pressure score; the MCP server serves 45 data tools. Nothing about the recording network changed.

ETF flows: issuer primary-source check + public JSON API

The US spot ETF tracker now reads BlackRock's own IBIT page every day (shares outstanding, NAV, net assets) as a source independent of the flow tape: shares × NAV is checked against the tape's net assets and the day-over-day change becomes an issuer-implied flow. The series ships as the free etf-issuer-daily dataset on /data, and the whole product finally has a JSON twin at /api/public/etf.

Risk guide in Chinese + accessibility pass

The Kelly-based risk guide now ships a full Simplified Chinese edition. Site-wide accessibility pass: every chart gained a text alternative, range selectors use proper toggle semantics, and small-label contrast now meets WCAG AA.

OKX joins the options tape · LiqMap embed snippet

The options flow tape now records OKX option trades next to Deribit; every print carries its venue in the table, the public API and the paid depth route. Every LiqMap coin page gained a copy-paste embed snippet for the script-free liquidation ladder widget.
