What We Collect, From Where, and How Fresh It Is

Only full, sampled and delayed venues enter the totals on the liquidations page. Shadow venues are collected but not counted until side and sizing are verified.

Price, 24h volume, open interest and funding per venue and market, collected every 10 minutes by our own adapters. Stock, index and commodity perps are a separate market so crypto aggregates stay clean.

Funding arbitrage legs are queried live per request; positioning statistics come from the exchanges' own published aggregates; the whale tape and spot minutes come from our own trade sockets; the Hyperliquid whale scan reads public chain state.

Coverage kinds: full means every event on the venue's public feed is recorded; sampled means the venue itself publishes a subset (Binance emits at most one liquidation per second per symbol, so bursts are under-recorded); delayed means the venue exposes the flag late and we backfill by REST; shadow means we collect but do not count; none means the venue has no public feed and we say so instead of estimating it.

Freshness is the age of the newest record in our tables for that source at the moment you loaded the page. Each source has its own expected cadence (liquidations within hours, snapshots within 30 minutes, spot minutes within 30 minutes, whale scans within 20 minutes); older than that is flagged stale.

Everything on this page is also served as JSON at /api/public/coverage so an agent can cite exactly what a number is built from.
