Every liquidation we count prints on one venue. This board splits the recorded total by exchange over the last day, week and month, shows how each share moved day by day, and sets it next to each venue's share of perp open interest.

Method
Recorded liquidations only. The counted venues (Binance, Bybit, OKX, Gate, HTX, dYdX, Aster, Lighter, Kraken Futures, GMX and Deribit) enter; shadow venues, collected but not yet verified, stay out, and venues without a public liquidation feed are absent. A share is a share of the recorded total, which is a floor of the market, not of every liquidation that happened.
Closed hours come from the hourly venue rollup and the current hour from the raw prints. A venue joins the share from its first counted day; when that day falls inside a window, its row says since which date and the days before do not dilute it.
Feed kinds: full records every liquidation the venue publishes; sampled means the venue throttles its public feed, so bursts are under-recorded and its share reads low in them; delayed rows arrive hours late, so that venue's share of the last hours reads low until the backfill lands.
A change in share can be activity moving between venues or a feed that went quiet; the coverage page shows every feed's newest print. The trend compares the last 7 days with the 7 before.
Open interest share reads the hourly perp open interest per venue behind the /venues history; the venues whose self-reported figures we do not trust are left out, as on /venues.
Questions
Why does one exchange hold most of the recorded liquidations?
The share follows where leveraged positions sit and which venues publish every liquidation. A venue with a large book and a complete public feed carries a large share; a venue without a public feed is not in the record at all, however large it is.
Is this every liquidation in the market?
No. It is the share of what our counted feeds record. Venues without a public liquidation feed are missing and sampled feeds under-record bursts, so the recorded total is a floor. The liquidations page carries a labeled estimate of the full market next to the record.
Why can a venue's share jump from one day to the next?
Either activity moved to that venue or another feed went quiet and the total shrank around it. Check the coverage page for the newest print of each feed before reading a jump as a market move.
Where can I get the data?
/api/public/venue-share?days=1, 7 or 30 returns the shares, the trend, the daily table and the open interest split. The venue-share-daily dataset on the data hub has one row per day and venue, and the paid venue-share-history route serves the hourly rows per venue with each hour's total.
