BYK Data Layer catalog beta-0.4: 116 records sealed every five minutes

The onchain catalog grows from 35 to 116 records with no change to the protocol; only a 200-byte manifest goes on chain, so the cost stays the same. Existing feeds widen: composite funding and aggregate open interest to 12 assets (HYPE, SUI, LINK, ADA, AVAX and LTC join), five-minute liquidations to 11, spot depth within 2 percent to 9, the Kimchi premium to 6. New feeds: whale prints of $1M and more summed per window and side across 10 venues, flow toxicity (VPIN) for BTC, ETH and SOL, the Turkey premium against the live USD/TRY quote, tokenized stocks (median premium, 24 h DEX volume, onchain supply in dollars for the board and six stocks), the largest single liquidation of the trailing 24 hours, exchange insurance funds (hourly: four venues and the total), the share of withdrawal pairs each of eight venues keeps open, read hourly from the venue's own switch, quantum-exposed bitcoin from our own node, and the Coinbase premium close. Hourly and daily sources carry their own age inside the record, so a reader always sees how old a number is. Every record has its proof at /proof and in the Proof API; each feed's methodology text is sealed by hash with every epoch.

x402: every pay-per-call route now costs $0.10, nothing under that

Every paid route under /api/x402 costs $0.10 in USDC per call (Solana or Base), up from $0.002 to $0.01. The prepaid key is unchanged at $10 and now covers 100 calls. The catalog, /openapi.json, the .well-known/x402 document and the developer docs read the price from one place, so they moved together.

DataBreaking

Turkey premium: a live USD/TRY reference beside the ECB fix, and the score pauses when the reference is not live

/turkey-premium now reads an intraday USD/TRY quote every minute beside the ECB daily fix. The fix is not published on Saturday and Sunday while the Turkish books keep trading, so a weekend reading measured the old fix as much as the market. Each minute now carries reference_state: fresh when the FX market is open and the live quote is younger than 30 minutes, carried when the FX market is closed (Friday 22:00 to Sunday 22:00 UTC) or the live source has been down for less than 24 hours of open FX market, stale beyond that. The 0 to 100 score is published on fresh minutes only; otherwise it is null with the reason and the page says since when the reference is carried. The index itself, its two legs and the neutral band are unchanged, the API adds the live quote, the same index against it and minutes_fresh on every daily row.

MCPBreaking

Hosted MCP without a key: 100 tool calls a day per client, counted in the database

The keyless pool on mcp.bykaranteli.com now allows 100 tool calls a day per client address and 20 a minute, down from 600 a day. The count lives in the database, so it no longer starts over when the site is deployed. Someone asking questions through an assistant stays far below these numbers; the change is aimed at scripts that polled the endpoint around the clock. A free account key from /dashboard/api carries 15,000 calls a month in its own pool, and Builder and above lift the cap. A refused call answers 429 with the limit, the calls used and the reset time.

Data

Tokenized stocks: onchain supply, premium to the share, DEX pools and exchange pairs

New board /tokenized-stocks: every onchain stock wrapper from xStocks, Robinhood Stock Tokens, Coinbase Tokenized Stocks, Binance bStocks, Ondo Stocks and Backpack Securities, taken from issuer sources only (never a search by name), and the tokenized spot pairs on Binance, Bybit, Gate, MEXC, BingX, Phemex and KuCoin. The page shows the supply in dollars by issuer and by chain (Solana, BNB Chain, Base, Robinhood Chain, Ethereum, TON and the other chains the issuers deploy to), each wrapper's premium or discount to the real share against a fresh reference, DEX liquidity and volume from admitted pools only, the gap between wrappers of the same stock, and the perpetual futures on the same stock. JSON API, a daily file, hourly history per wrapper for builders and an MCP tool.

Data

Exchange insurance funds: Binance, Bybit, OKX and Gate, read every hour

New board /insurance-funds: the funds exchanges keep to pay for liquidations that close below the bankruptcy price, read every hour from each venue's public endpoint pool by pool and valued in dollars (OKX: its own published total). The page shows the total, each venue's fund, the 24-hour and 7-day change, each fund against the venue's perpetual open interest, every pool and a daily history per venue; Gate's history goes back to its own published record. Free JSON at /api/public/insurance-funds, a daily file insurance-funds-daily, hourly pool rows on the paid route /api/x402/insurance-fund-history and the MCP tool get_insurance_funds.

DataBreaking

Options walls and gamma exposure across Deribit, Bybit, Binance, OKX and Delta Exchange

/options now reads the listed BTC and ETH option chains of every options venue we record and sums them by default: open interest per expiry, strike and type is added across venues and each venue's mark implied volatility is weighted by its open interest, so the walls, dealer gamma exposure, zero-gamma level and term structure describe the listed market as a whole. A venue switch shows one chain at a time, and a share bar above the walls shows where the open interest sits. Bybit and Binance chains are on file from 2026-09-21; OKX and Delta Exchange (India platform) chains are recorded from the next daily capture at 00:25 UTC, so their history starts there. Settlement differs by venue and open interest is counted in coins everywhere. DVOL remains Deribit's index and the implied volatility surface stays on Deribit's chain. The same scope reaches /api/public/options (?venue=, all venues by default), the paid options-oi-history route (venue filter) and the options-oi-daily dataset (venue column).

Data

Gate and HTX liquidation feeds: auto-deleveraging twins removed

Both venues' public liquidation sockets print an auto-deleveraging counterparty as a second row with the opposite side at the same millisecond, price and quantity (about 3.6 percent of Gate rows and 5 percent of HTX rows, concentrated in the largest prints). Checked against the venues' own liquidation histories: Gate lists the counterparty as a position that was only reduced, HTX lists neither leg. A worker job now reconciles the last 40 minutes every five minutes and removes those rows; the retained 30 days were cleaned and the daily table re-rolled. Pairs the histories list as two full closes stay, because those are two liquidations that filled each other. /liquidations and the daily dataset reflect the cleaned counts.

Data

BitMEX removed from the venue registry after its shutdown

BitMEX shut down on 2026-09-23 at 04:00 UTC. It is no longer listed on /venues, in the coverage matrix or in the venue snapshot, settlement and withdrawal network collectors, and its venue page answers 410 Gone. Rows recorded before the shutdown keep the exchange value bitmex in the history tables and datasets.

Data

Spot order book depth now reads every public dollar spot book that passed our probe

/orderbook now also reads the spot books of Bitfinex, BingX, Crypto.com, Backpack, Binance US, Poloniex, LBank, Bitrue, XT, HashKey, DigiFinex, Bullish, WEEX, Deribit, Aster, Bitvavo, Independent Reserve and BtcTurk. A venue is in when its public book is quoted in USDT, USDC or USD and returns 100 or more levels reaching past 0.5% of mid, or the whole book, with real orders near price. The venue table shows how far each book reaches; past that point a bin is unknown, not zero. Every venue we probed and left out is counted on /coverage, and /api/public/coverage carries the dated reason for each: public books too thin to use, books quoted only in local currencies, or no spot market. The free API, the paid 5-minute history and the MCP tool get_orderbook_depth carry the same venues. A book whose size is not corroborated (at least half as deep as Binance's within 2% on BTC with no spot volume in our venue snapshots, or a venue claiming more BTC spot volume than Binance) is recorded and shown with a held out tag but left out of the sums, walls and headline numbers.

BYK Data Layer beta: 35 data feeds sealed every 5 minutes, signed and written to Solana and Base

/proof now runs on Solana and Base mainnet. Every five minutes 35 feeds we compute (funding composite, aggregate open interest, long and short liquidations, order book depth within 2 percent, derivatives pressure scores, Kimchi and Turkey premiums) are sealed into one Merkle root. An isolated signing service with no network access signs the manifest; the manifest is written to Solana in a memo under its own witness key, and attested on Base through EAS once a day and at every change to the authorization log. A number changed afterwards would no longer match its anchor. The page verifies any record in your browser: the leaf, its Merkle path, the manifest, its commitment, the signature and the Solana transaction, read from a public node rather than from us. The full protocol verdict needs no browser and no ByKaranteli server: /byk-verify.mjs is one file for Node.js 20 or newer that reads only Solana and Base and checks every epoch from genesis. Every epoch, record and proof is served without a key at /api/v1/proof, and the MCP tool get_data_proof (npm 0.28.0) hands the same proofs to AI agents. The governance key that authorizes the data signer never touches our servers. Beta profile: one of one governance, Class B feeds.

Data

Turkey Premium Index: one number for what lira buyers pay above the world price, with a 0 to 100 score

/turkey-premium now leads with the Turkey Premium Index, built like the Kimchi premium: the BTC-TRY reference against the global BTCUSDT price at the ECB USD/TRY rate, in basis points, split into a dollar leg (USDT/TRY against the official rate) and a crypto leg. A fixed, published scale turns it into a 0 to 100 score with five regimes (50 is the world price). The page opens with a full-width index chart for BTC, ETH and USDT, a chart of the two legs and a bar chart of every exchange's own implied premium. The index is in the JSON API (index block, index_bps per pair and per minute), the daily CSV, the x402 minute history, the MCP tool and the stream channel.

Data

Turkey premium: TRY reference prices from eight Turkish venues and the premium over the global price

/turkey-premium reads the public order books of BtcTurk, Bitlo, CoinTR, OKX TR, Binance TR, Bybit TR, KuCoin TR and Bitexen every minute, validates each book (two-sided, sorted, spread within 50 bps or 30 bps on USDT-TRY, fresh within 90 s) and publishes five reference prices (BTC-TRY, ETH-TRY, USDT-TRY, BTC-USDT, ETH-USDT) as the median of eligible books, with the Turkey premium in basis points via USDT/TRY against the Binance global price and the lira dollar premium against the ECB fix. Every venue's status, spread and depth are shown; fewer than two eligible venues means null, never a filled-in number. JSON at /api/public/turkey-premium, free daily CSV turkey-premium-daily, minute rows on x402 turkey-premium-history, MCP tool get_turkey_premium (npm 0.27.0), stream channel turkey.

API

Stream: a WebSocket for liquidations, whales, Hyperliquid whales, your alerts and on-change snapshots

wss://bykaranteli.com/ws/v1 with the same account key on the handshake. Event channels push liquidation prints from nine venues, $1M+ whale prints, Hyperliquid whale position events and your own alert firings as they happen, each with a seq you can resume from; snapshot channels push pressure, open interest, funding and LiqMap only when the payload changes, in the same shape as the REST routes. Paid plans only: Builder gets one connection with liquidations for three named symbols, Business opens all nine channels with five connections and 15 minutes of replay, Scale and Enterprise raise every limit. Protocol, examples and error codes on /developers; connection, frame and time usage on /dashboard/api.

Pricing rewritten around two products · monthly quota on free keys · programs must identify themselves

/pricing now says plainly what it sells: Terminal for people ($29 a month, 1 to 12 month terms) and the API plans for programs (free key, Builder $49, Business $149, Scale $399), with one table that lists every feature side by side. Free and Terminal keys carry a quota of 15,000 requests per calendar month (UTC): every keyed response reports it in x-quota-limit, x-quota-used and x-quota-reset, and from 2026-10-01 a key over the quota answers 429 until the month resets; Builder and above have no monthly cap. Two enforcement fixes: a program that sends browser headers but names itself in the User-Agent is treated as a program and needs a key, and 5-minute SuperChart bars with 5,000 bars of history are a Terminal feature again for signed-in accounts (a free account sees the public depth). The hosted MCP endpoint caps keyless clients at 600 tool calls a day per client; a key lifts that. /dashboard/api shows the month's calls against the quota.

APIBreaking

API keys for programs, plans for your code, a data licence

The public JSON API now takes an account key from programs: a free key comes with any verified account (/dashboard/api, 30 requests a minute) and is required for scripts, bots and agents from 2026-09-10; pages on the site keep working without one. New plans for code on /pricing: Builder $49, Business $149 and Scale $399 a month buy rate, member depth on the API (LiqMap on seven timeframes, 5-minute series) and, from Business, a commercial licence and bulk exports; every paid API plan includes the Terminal membership, and members active today keep Builder rights for the rest of their period. Datasets served from this site are now under the ByKaranteli Data Licence (personal and research use with attribution, see /data); files published earlier on the GitHub, Kaggle, Hugging Face and Zenodo mirrors stay CC0 and stop updating. The MCP package 0.26.0 reads BYKARANTELI_API_KEY.

Free accounts get watchlist, candles and alert recipes · underpaid invoices stay open

The watchlist, DeskBoard candles and the one alert recipe a free account can save now work without a membership (the recipe fires to Telegram or push). Checkout: an invoice is valid for 72 hours instead of 24, and a payment that arrives short of the quote no longer expires with the money in the wallet: at 90% or more the membership activates pro-rated, below that the invoice waits 48 hours for a top-up and both you and we are told. Coinbase card purchases now deliver USDC to the wallet saved in Settings rather than an address typed at checkout.

Signal engine retired: ByKaranteli is a data platform only

The rule-based signal engine, its receipts, strategy pages and performance APIs were removed. The former hub pages redirect to the data they were built on (/data, /symbols, /methodology) and individual receipt URLs answer 410 Gone. The symbol pages now show recorded price, funding, open interest and the derivatives pressure score; the MCP server serves 45 data tools. Nothing about the recording network changed.

Data

ETF flows: issuer primary-source check + public JSON API

The US spot ETF tracker now reads BlackRock's own IBIT page every day (shares outstanding, NAV, net assets) as a source independent of the flow tape: shares × NAV is checked against the tape's net assets and the day-over-day change becomes an issuer-implied flow. The series ships as the free etf-issuer-daily dataset on /data, and the whole product finally has a JSON twin at /api/public/etf.

Data

OKX joins the options tape · LiqMap embed snippet

The options flow tape now records OKX option trades next to Deribit; every print carries its venue in the table, the public API and the paid depth route. Every LiqMap coin page gained a copy-paste embed snippet for the script-free liquidation ladder widget.

Site

Risk guide in Chinese + accessibility pass

The Kelly-based risk guide now ships a full Simplified Chinese edition. Site-wide accessibility pass: every chart gained a text alternative, range selectors use proper toggle semantics, and small-label contrast now meets WCAG AA.

MCP

MCP server 0.9 · 33 tools + hosted endpoint

The bykaranteli-mcp package reached 0.9 with 33 tools covering signals, liquidations, funding, options, ETF flows and more. The hosted MCP endpoint serves the same tools with zero install. See /developers.

Infrastructure

Source expansion: 56 feeds across 43 exchanges

The ingestion registry grew to 56 live feeds across 43 venues, including Kraken spot. Every feed is tracked in the venue market snapshot with freshness monitoring.

Data

LiqMap top-100: real liquidation prints from 5 exchanges

LiqMap expanded to 100 symbols with exchange-reported liquidation prints from Binance, Bybit, OKX, Gate and HTX layered over the estimated map.

API

x402 pay-per-call live on Coinbase Bazaar

13 dataset routes are listed in the Coinbase Bazaar directory with live CDP settlement. Agents can pay per call with USDC; the free snapshots stay free. Details at /developers.
