Liquidation Heatmap

A chart estimating where leveraged futures positions would be forcibly closed, shown as price zones colored by intensity.

A liquidation heatmap estimates where leveraged positions cluster and would be forcibly closed if price reached them. Dense zones act like magnets: as price approaches, cascading liquidations can accelerate the move straight through the cluster, which is why traders watch the nearest zones above and below the current price. The estimates come from open interest, typical leverage bands, and recent entries, not from the actual liquidation book (exchanges do not publish that). We compute a free Binance-derived map for BTC and ETH, refreshed every 2 minutes, with the nearest actionable clusters highlighted.
