What is a TPO profile?
The day is cut into half-hour periods. Each period marks every price bucket its range touched, one mark per bucket. Stacking the marks shows how much time the market spent at each price. The point of control is the bucket with the most marks, and the value area is the band around it that holds the given share of all marks.
What is a naked point of control?
A point of control that no later closed day has traded through: every later day's low stayed above it or its high stayed below it. It is a record of where trading concentrated and was not revisited, not a forecast.
