Naked point of control

A point of control that no later closed day has traded through.

A point of control is naked when every later closed day stayed entirely above it or entirely below it, so the market has not traded back at that price since. We check each recorded day's POC against every later closed day; today's open session is not compared, so a level can stop being naked the moment today closes through it. How to read it: a naked POC marks a price where trading once concentrated and that has not been revisited; it is a record of the past, not a prediction that price will return. The symbol pages list the naked POCs of the recent recorded days.
