Point of control (POC)
The price bucket of a day's profile with the most TPO marks: the price the market spent the most time at.
The point of control is the row of a Market Profile with the most TPO marks, the price where the day traded for the longest. When two rows tie, we take the one closer to the day's volume-weighted average price. A volume point of control is the same idea counted in traded volume instead of time, and the two can differ. How to read it: the POC is where the day found the most two-sided trade, and comparing the price now with recent POCs shows whether the market trades above, below or back at prices it recently accepted. It is a record, not a target. Each symbol page lists the POC of every recent closed day.
